Digital Radiology
X-rays allow images of both soft tissues and bone tissues to be obtained and therefore, it is an essential test in the daily practice of the veterinary clinician.
Digital radiography provides superior quality to conventional radiology. Unlike conventional radiography, digital radiography uses a filmless chassis. Instead, it uses an image capture plate, which is a screen that uses photostimulable storage phosphors that are capable of retaining a latent image.
